Country Fried Steak

Country Fried Steak

Ingredients:  1 lb Beef Steak, pound until 1/4 inch thick
                   1 Egg, beaten
                   1 cup Flour
                   Salt and Pepper

Procedure:   1.   Season beef with salt and pepper.
                   2.   Coat steak in egg and dip in flour.
                   3.   Fry until golden brown, set aside.


For the Gravy:   2 TBSP Butter
                         3 TBSP Flour
                         1/2 cup Milk
                         Salt and Pepper

Procedure:   1.   Heat butter in a saucepan, add flour.  Whisk until it smooth in texture.
                   2.   Add milk and continue to whisk.  Season with salt and pepper.
                   3.   Cook until sauce thickens.
                   4.   Take steak and pour gravy on top.
