Sweet and Sour Spareribs

Sweet and Sour Spareribs

Ingredients:

4-5 lbs Pork Spareribs
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
2 TBSP Cornstarch
1 cup Ketchup
2/3 cup Vinegar
1/2 cup Water

Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to 350 F.
2.  Place ribs on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.Bake uncovered, for 1 1/2 hours.
3.  While ribs are baking, combine sugars, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan.
4.  Stir in ketchup, vinegar and water.  Bring to a boil.
5.  Stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
6.  Remove ribs from roasting pan.  Discard dripping.
7.  Remove rack and return ribs to pan.  Cover with sauce
8.  Bake 30 minutes more.
